JewSTU is an award-winning embodied curriculum for spiritual growth for teens and tweens.

Kids today need a spiritual tool-box to approach life’s challenges and daily decisions. JewSTU uses art as the primary tool to cultivate the ability to listen in for individual truth, express it, and connect to oneself, others and beyond. Kids will develop self-awareness and compassion, improve self-image and establish a dialogue with the Creative Force while identifying with Jewish values.

in 2016, Wortzman received the Rabbi Samuel Sandmel Award for her doctorate on art as spiritual direction with youth from the Graduate Theological Foundation. Jew STU was a key component of this work.
